PLANNED PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE
Planned preventative maintenance reduces the risk
of reduced productivity or downtime and often significantly
extends the life of most equipment. Planned maintenance services
enable your business to stay in control and avoid escalation to larger,
costlier problems and potential breakdowns.

COMPLIANCE TESTING
Keeping your heating and hot water systems safe and serviceable
is key to your business operation, but equally important is ensuring
you have full documentation and records to prove it to ensure you are
meeting the requirements of The Gas safety Regulations 1998 which is
critical to demonstrating you are legal and compliant.
The regulations state 'It shall be the duty of every employer or
self-employed person to ensure that any gas appliance, installation
pipework or flue installed at any place of work under his control is
maintained in a safe condition so as to prevent risk of injury to any person’
The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998, UK Statutory Instruments 1998, No. 2451, PART F, Regulation 35.

INSTALLATION ON DESTRATIFICATION FANS
A destratification fan is a ventilation device which is typically
suspended from the ceiling of a commercial or industrial building
which circulates the air from the ceiling to the floor level,
reducing the temperature difference between the highest
and lowest points and creating an even temperature distribution.

Destratifiaction fans work extremely well
as part of warm air heating installations.

TIGHTNESS TESTING & PURGING
Tightness testing is a safety critical process carried out on existing
pipe work to ensure your gas pipe work and installations are in a sound
condition and safe to use. The test is carried out at a set pressure as per
GSIUR 1998 using calibrated equipment to monitor any loss in pressure
no matter how small and rectify as necessary.
We would advise as best practice that all gas pipe work is inspected
and tested annually during your regular gas appliance servicing.
Often this is a requirement of your building insurance to validate the policy.
Testing and purging would be carried out after a new installation,
replacement or pipework upgrade. The Gas Testing and Purging form
allows the our Gas Engineers to provide a report to our clients on the safety
of the gas installation, when carrying out strength testing, tightness testing
and/or purging in accordance with IGE/UP/1 (Edition 2)
and/or IGE/UP/1A (Edition 2) in a non-domestic environment.
